Even though the COVID-19 pandemic forced almost all fitness centers and gyms to shutter their doors temporarily, you can still find ways to get the guidance you need to learn yoga. Aside from books, articles, and tutorial videos you can easily access online, it is also possible to enroll in free yoga classes.

These classes are unlike traditional ones. The major difference is that these online classes involve the instructor and the other people in the class being behind your laptop screen. It might seem awkward at first, but it is the next best thing right now that people are in lockdown.

To get you started, here are a couple of free online classes that you can sign up for today:

Yoga with Adrienne (YouTube)

Adrienne is the queen of yoga on YouTube with more than 8 million subscribers and rising. There are thousands of different yoga tutorial videos on her channel that you can choose from. The great thing about this channel is that you can choose when to start your class.

You do not have to pay a cent. There is also no need for you to subscribe to the channel if you do not feel like it, but you should strongly consider doing so, just as a show of support for Adrienne (this also helps with her metrics).

FLYLDN (Instagram Live)

FLYLDN is one of London’s top yoga centers, and their claim to fame is their use of a large screen where they project immersive videos and pictures to help the students relax.

For now, they only stream via their Instagram account, so you need to get up early to attend their classes. Just take this as motivation to get up from your bed and you’re your body move.

Do Yoga with Me

This website has a lot of yoga tutorial videos led by different instructors. The videos are pre-recorded so you can start your classes whenever it is convenient for you.

They also have live yoga sessions that you can sign up for. These are great because you will get live feedback from the instructor in real time. The classes are free for the first two months, after which, you will need to pay for every successive class.

Yogi2Me Free Charity Zoom Classes

Although you usually would have to pay for their services, they do have a free class every day, only suggesting that you donate to their charity of choice. This is great because you will be getting the benefit of having a live instructor give you direct instructions.

With the help of these free online yoga classes, you can continue with your practice wherever you are. The good news is that you do not have to pay anything, which makes it all the more convenient.
